wow, it seems like the class blog is SUPER DEAD! -.-, one month since some one even posted -.-, okay so the holidays are over*is there even one?* and sch reopens and the class will be super BUZY with nomad, and we still have loads of things to do.... like THE SCIENCE INVESTIGATIVE PROJECT due this friday, so grops i knw is veery hard for every one to meet up at the same time so can i sugest that u all take your ownselves talking and maybe send it to some one who is incharge of doing the video? (alternative way) and hmm, please finish your math holiday homework, it isn't that hard yeah?and oh, english compre paper 6 and 7 *if i don't have stm* in two weeks time, er, literature the quotes by william shakespear by thurs...er, oh, history mye correction only source base question by nxt fri, pass it to renald prefably morning... oh, and for express chinese, you have to do the most important thing for you, and choose one: mother, father or friend must qrite at least 30 characters and also a picture or photograph. and i think thats all, oh. for class nomad, we really appreciate if you could bring those rectangular cardboards to make air com props. lastly for tml home econ, those in Mrs Quek's group(whh i dk who too) please remember to bring: ttbk, wkbk, file and tumbdrive. i not very sure u knw, stm... -.- okay so thats all... bye~

Alright people, the holidays are here.
Now, would you guys like a class outing? :D
Suggestions will be appreciated though.
But, looking @ our NOMAD schedule, I guess the 1st and 4th week can be taken off the dates that we're free I guess. So the outing can only take place on the 2nd and 3rd week. That's quite hectic, I think.
So, I'll come up with some suggestions with the class committee and will get back to you guys quite soon (:

Class, for the benifit for those who are interested in the scrabble mania compeition, i shall post it HERE! Its more efficent than renald or leelin(main incharge?) shouting and get PISSED OFF by u guys:] so yeah. first, board: try to get a cardboard(or shd i say MUST) then paste the A3 size paper on it! decorate the board, maybe u can win an award:] then please colour the ' triple word, double letter' those sorts with the correct colour, the colour for them is printed on the A3 paper, beside your playing area. please hand up the BOARD to RENALD by 26th of feb, whh is the coming friday, REMEMBER TO WRTIE ALL GRP MEMBERS NAME BY THE BACK. for the tiles: please cut out the size of the tiles according to the squares of the board. please also try to use cardboard(optional though, just make sure when u are playing the tiles will not FLY can le) write the letters in the middle of the title. then number of tiles needed for each letter is also give by the side of the whh is also on th A3 size paper. then number of points for each letter is given on a small piece of paper. write the points at the bottom right hand side of the title, don't write too big(till its the same size ofthe letter) and don't write too small too(or how are you going to see how many points the letter is?) please hand up ALL THE TILEs to ME, MEIQI by the same 26th feb, nxt friday, try to get an opaque poach to keep all the tile like a real scrabble game:] and WRITE YOur NAMES! so if you still have any unsure of how to do up the board and tiles, feel free to contact any class commitee. the rules and stuff on how the play the game shd be said after creating the board bah, i am unsure about that. and the day scrabble mania is taking place is on the 13 march, sat. Hello people, apparently, Renald hasn't been taking in what I've said. Anyway, please tell me your comments as it is very important, since it's a class blog. Everyone should be happy and agreeable about it. Well, I've recieved some comments today, like enlarging the font size, having some music going on (Well, some people don't like it as well.) and having someone or a group to update the homework we have everyday, some-sort. Like, we could have a team and take turns, preferbly those who uses computer oftenly (cough). So, about the music plan, we'll reconsider as we've tried it before during Secondary 1 and some people apparently don't like it. Like me, because I have my Lady Gaga songs playing, and those green day songs are just ruining it. Okay, so, we'll be welcoming more comments. In the meantime, tell me what songs you are expecting to hear if there will be a player going on. 1) Bring a small bag. So you guys can share locker, no need to rent 1 locker to your own.
2) Sunblock *Optional*
3) Cap/Visor *Optional*
4) Jacket (In case you just play the wet n wild and go into the restaurant, it's going to be damn cold.)
5) Extra set of clothes, including undergarments.
6) Hankerchief *Optional*
7) Money
8) Wear Slippers for easy walking.
9) Water (Damn important)
10) Handphone (duh.)

That's about it, I think. Yep. And remember,

11) Wear comfortable clothes.
12) Don't wear skirt (no pls...)
13) No white shirts or white pants if you're playing Wet and Wild and Bumper Cars
14) No long sleeves, please.

For once I couldn't care less anymore.

Uh, due to health circumstances, I'm not going to the class outing, but still I have to make sure everyone who's going has to know all the details and stuff.

I don't think its necessary to take note of everyone who's going before the outing anymore, just go if you want to.

I don't know about the muslims who are going, but the class wants to go in the morning.
So basically, sorry if there are troubles that you have to adjust to, to go to the outing.

So I'll just set a random timing then.

Meet at AMK Interchange at 11.30, you'll take 86 and switch to 89 at some point, i don't really know.

Wear what you want, i don't care.

Its up to one of you to elect yourself as leader and lead the group, if you want.

But however, I still need all of you to know. Safety is the most important thing. I've put together an acronym.

S - Stick Together ( You MUST Stick together, make a buddy system or something, don't wander around alone.

A - Always be alert ( Whenever you are crossing the road, please look left, right, then left again. LOL. You know what I mean )

F - Friends, look out for them. ( Make sure after you go to each station or something, check to see if everyone has gathered along. Look out for them too )

E - Exercise good hygiene ( Please don't get into rides, touch here touch there (LOL), then go KFC eat never wash hand. Later "lao sai" not our problem. )

Oh okay. Anyway, my bus stop obviously is at Ang Mo Kio Hub bus interchange, DUH. Ok nvm, no one knows. Yeah. U can take mrt from your house or whatever, go amk hub, then reach le. EASY RIGHT. Then, we take 86 to 1 stop before my bus stop, which is near Rivervale Mall. Takes about 30 minutes. Then, From 86 change to 89. Takes about 10 minutes. And, the bus stops infrount of Escape Theme Park. :D Well, Near Escape Theme Park (Um, outside escape theme park) there's Mac Cafe, Subway, And all the awesome things. Got Watson if you want to buy drinks/sweets as well. Oh, there's Macdonalds and KFC and a Food Court if you find the other foods expensive. So, bring enough money. Well, we can also take 88 but I don't know how long it takes to the Rivervale bus stop. So, to be safe, 86. :p Ummm. And ok, good, wear own clothes, I dunno right. Dun blame me. :p Um yeah. That's all. Well, bye.

Ok, anyway, the title is crap. :b Main point. Firstly, I suggest we take my bus, which is 86. LOL. Because we can change to 89, then it will stop directly infrount of Escape theme park, which means. NO CRAP WALKING. :b And the whole trip takes about 30-40 minutes, Doesn't that beat the MRT and Shuttle Bus? Which takes almost 1 Hour! Don't try to tell me it's fake or anything, Duh, I live near there. Anyway.
1) Bring extra lots of money, they have Orange Julius and Burger King there incase you get tired or thirsty or stuff.
2) Extra clothes is for Wet n' Wild (It's different from Wild Wild Wet. -_-) Wet n Wild is a ride where you sit on a cart and it rolls down a lake or somesort. And water will splash on you. Bring extra undergarments too, Or buy a poncho there. Or bring your own. (Poncho is a raincoat sort-of thing) Oh, and if you want to sit on the Bumper Boat too. It's kinda lame cause primary kids will splash water on you from outside.
3) Bring coins if you want to store your bag in a locker while you enjoy your games. $1, if I'm not wrong, it's like an NTUC cart somesort, you can take your coin back.
4) Advisable not to play their Carnival games, you'll go broke. It's $2 per game, expensive eh.
5) Becareful not to buy your Carnival Game ticket and play wet games, unless you'll end up like me, Tickets wet and tear. (Means $2 bye bye.)
6) I have an extra ticket for those whom Birthday have not reached yet. I need time to find it, tell me if you want it, If not I'll throw it away.
7) NTUC Card members can help everyone buy ticket, because it's cheaper. Remember to ask your parents if they're NTUC Card members. Thanks!
8) Stay as long as possible, there's no time limit for Escape Theme Park, you would'nt want your money to go to waste, right?
9) If your parents say that Escape Theme Park is dangerous or whatever, tell them you won't fall off from the Revolution thing, the only worry is that someone will wear skirt.
10) Don't sit on Pirate Ship if you just ate. Alot of people vomited there before. They take a long time to clean up. -_-

Class Outing comfirmed

Okay so here's the jist of it.

The class outing will take place on 11 December, Friday. At Escape Theme Park.

First of all, we meet up at Ang Mo Kio Station at 2.15pm, in the underground tunnel beside Cheers. If you have any trouble finding the place please call and ask me. We will wait for everybody to turn up, but at most we will wait till 2.30 or later. Please be punctual.

We will then proceed to the MRT Station take the train all the way to City Hall. The trip will take about 20 to 30 mins. We will then alight and switch over to the East West Line and take the train to Pasir Ris Station. In total the trip will take about 1 hour.

While in the train waiting, I will brief you all about what will happen across the day, and things to take note of during the whole trip.

The timings for Shuttle Bus from Pasir Ris MRT Station to ETP are 3.15 and 4.15.
If we are punctual and can reach there by 3.15, we will take the shuttle bus there.
If we cannot, we will take Bus Service Number 5 from Pasir Ris Bus Interchange to the stop outside Downtown East/Escape Theme Park or we will walk there.

The cost for entering Escape Theme Park is $17.70. For NTUC Members is $14.70

Here are some things you need to know.

First of all, we know that the Entry Fee is very expensive. So, we will take out some money from the class fund and give everybody in the class $5 back. So you can pay lesser. So basically you guys only need to bring at least $12.70 to gain entry to Escape Theme Park. Preferrably a little more than that to buy things inside if you want to.

As for lunch, you can choose to eat before we meet up, or eat together when we go into the Theme Park.

We will go home at around 5.30 or so.
After we play to our hearts content, ( lol ) we will will go back the same route together.
And if any of you wants, we can catch a movie afterwards.
What Movie? We'll see. Lol. I'll print out a list of what movies we can watch and on what time.

Take note that, we will be wearing our class tee, for easy identification if worst case scenario we are looking for somebody whom we can't find.

Things you have to bring~!~
1) Some money ; At least enough to gain entry to ETP.
2) A water bottle. Its gonna be real hot.

Look guys, its impossible to get everyone to go.

You see, if the dates we are going are on friday, the only dates left for us to go for class outing are :

1) 4th December
2) 11th December
3) 18th December
4) 25th December

Now look, if we go on the 4th December, it might too last minute or might not have enough time to plan out the whole thing smoothly. And there will be people who can't go as well.

On the 11th December and 18 December, and basically the only dates that are actually kinda possible.

25th December is clearly Christmas Day, which some of you may celebrate. There should be some family outings for you guys so I'm basically not going to interfere.

Now, I don't mind we go on the 4th of December, because I have already basically thought out the outing. I have reviewed the polls and the most popular vote is Chalet + Barbeque.

I'm really sorry but, I don't think I have enough experience to plan such a thing. Barbeque's obviously going to be really messy and there as health concerns as well, if you overburn the thing or whatsoever there are going to be problems.

Chalet is expensive but okay if you want to, but once again I haven't organised such a thing. Chalet would be good next year, because then we have more time to plan and get parents to help because this outing is planned kind of last minute.

So, the next popular vote is bowling. Now I don't mind that. And the next one with 3 votes is Escape Theme Park. Now, here is what I think would be a simple, yet fun, and probably safe class outing we can possibly plan.

First of all, we basically get a "host". We need someone to volunteer for that.
Basically, what a host does, is that first of all. All of us gather at the house. We sit down, review all the stuff, what we are going to do for the day, small games if possible etc.
Then, if anything goes wrong during the day, we can go back to the house to rethink out our plan for the day.

Secondly, we head off. Two options :

1) We head over to SAFRA or Orchid Country Club for Bowling.
2) We go to Escape Theme Park and play.

Okay, both might be a little expensive. But judging from the votes, you guys don't seem to mind expensive outings. Lol. I am aware there are classmates that need Financial Assistance. So, this is what I think would be good. Not forgetting THE CLASS FUND most of you would complain about.

We first must comfirm, who is going for the outing.
We then split the class fund up into 40.
Those who are going will get their share of the fund on the day of the outing itself.
Those who cannot go will get theirs once school starts.

I've checked the information on how to get the ETP. We must first proceed to Pasir Ris MRT Station. Then take a shuttle bus from there onwards.

Hey Class, hasn't been here for a while and was so surprised to see the change in our class blog!

Please note that good things don't come easy. It isn't just going to one place, having fun, going home. There's more to it than that. Things can go wrong easily, if we don't plan properly, one thing pops up, then everything is ruined. So we need the whole class' support and cooperation. Please don't say, I don't feel like going, this thing's lame or whatever. Cmon, we are a class, we have fun together. I remember the last "class outing", only 5 girls and miss wong turned up.

Take this as a chance of bonding together, get to know each other more. And most of all have fun.

Take note that nothing is easy to plan, especially with probably 40 students going. It's bound to be chaotic and stuff.

Please don't blame us if we take " too long " to plan this outing, because hey, we're the ones planning this, you are the one going and enjoying it all together.

Trust me, it isn't easy. You can try if you want to. I have tried planning outings before and they haven't gone all so smoothly.

So please, take this as one of the last things I am doing for the class as the chairperson.

Alright, so now what we kind of agreed on is going to Safra in Yishun. I know people will say its far, thats probably what you are thinking. But I'll provide a list of transport on how to go there. Well why we have decided so is because there are a list of facilities provided there that we feel can "entertain" the class enough for a period of time.

It includes :
1) Bowling
2) Swimming
3) Arcade
4) Rock climbing
5) Other things we might find out over there.

We do have a plan B, if all goes wrong, lets just catch a movie, right?

Just to remind you that this is just a rough plan, there are many many more details to come up.
We haven't eliminated the other 21 options that Jiayu gave us, ( except looking at plants, that's not quite appropriate for a class outing )

Hello there, due to my ~~shitty~~ ~~suckish~~ lousy computer, I am unable to view the class blog due to speaker problems. Yes, speaker problems. Not that any of you care.

I'm sure ~~all~~ most of you would be excited for tomorrow's teacher day celebration. The school has got a lot of events, well, some, events lined up for us tomorrow. Be reminded you don't have to bring any books, as, of course, its Teacher's Day-eve.

We will be planning a surprise, for certain. So, if you can, come a little earlier than usual. The plan isn't perfect, especially with us coming up with dumb ideas such as hiding in the toilet.

You wouldn't know what it is till tomorrow. So, thats the jist of it. Currently, I don't know what the class committee/lee lin has planned yet. So, I'd be just as surprised as you, Miss Wong.

Before I forget, we still don't have enough people for the AMK Warrior event. We have currently, 12 ppl, 10 students as well as Miss Tan and Miss Wong, Mr Yap is uncertain. So we need at least three people more to take part in the event. Please inform me by tomorrow morning as I need to finalise the people playing.

Wish good luck to Wenn Hao, Hao Lun, Shantel and Serene for their participation for Don't Forget the Lyrics thing tomorrow.

Erm class 11, as some of you may have been notified, we had changed the T-shirt design. What you see here is the so called finalised design. Just in case it is not clear, the design is a necktie, where the tie is made of the word "Integrity", as it is our House name. and the top part of the "Integrity" is with the words: 11'09 and 21'10. Reason we changed the design, is because if we used the previous design, the dotted lines will start at nowhere and end at nowhere. So, we thought this was a better design. Please do not ask why the back is plain. As we're hot-printing (so everyone have their name bolded) it, we may not make it by Monday, which is the Teachers' Day Celebration. So, we decided to print the front first, and after the celebration, we will bring it back to Bideas to print the back. And by the way, the back is our names, by register order, but we will start with "Amkss (dot) Miss Clarise Wong" then "Amelia (dot) Chantel (dot) Reiyi and so on." For students who have travelled to H1N1-affected countries, and returning on or after 22 June 09 (Monday), they will be on 7 days’ of Leave of Absence (LOA). Their date of return to Singapore is Day 0. They can only be back in school on Day 8. Eg: If they return on 22 June 09, they can only be back in school on 30 June 09.

If the country of travel is listed as H1N1-affected only after their return to Singapore, the 7-days LOA is computed as follows:

Dear 1/1, please take note of the following:

Closure of School Back Gate
Please be informed that the school backgate is closed until further notice to facilitate visual screening at the main gate.
All pupils are expected to make use of the main gate when entering the school in the morning.

Temperature-Taking During Mid Year Exam
The twice daily temp-taking regimne will continue as per normal during MYE.
1st temp-taking will be at the start of the paper while 2nd temp-taking is to take place at the start of the 2nd paper (if any).
The respective invigilators will take charge of the Temp-Taking SOP in the classroom.

All pupils are to report to the respective classrooms 30mins before the start of the paper so that they is ample time for the temp-taking session.

On 7th May, a 2nd temp-taking session is necessary for pupils sitting for the HCL paper at 2.30pm.

The alert staus for the H1N1 avian-swine flu has been raised from yellow to orange which is the second highest level.

Starting from Monday, 4th May, the school will implement visual screening at the gates.

The gate will open on Monday, 7am.

On Wednesday, some of us went to Jurong Bird Park for the maths trail, some of the people like Shantel wanted to quickly finish the worksheet, but i went there with a mindset to just PLAY =D . But of course we did do the worksheets gave to us, but i didnt finish my group's one. Haha, die liao. At around the end of the trail we were supposed to make our way back to the original meeting place after we have rested a while, but then we went the opposite direction and in the end ran a whole big round around the bird park and finally reached there. Oh, that was tiring with my sprained ankle but it was fun!!

For those from mrs yeo group we will be making fruit salad on Monday.If u can bring a papaya and a quarter of watermelon bring it. Because the school will only be providing apples only.If you are bringing please leave a message in the tagboard so that there will not be 2 person bringing the fruits. After you buy, the class would share the cost .Remember to bring container,apron,tea towel and dish cloth. A reminder there will be an exam on wk9 Monday which is 2 March.

Alright, five days after creating this blog, no one seems to care. Therefore, we are canceling the homework section operation two days after it started because basically i dont think anyone is making use of it. So, thus, it will not continue.
